RESUMEN

En el Centenario (1910), la educación tuvo un papel central en la consolidación de la nación, considerada una condición esencial para hacer del país una República. En ese marco y con anterioridad se había sancionado la Ley Nº1420 de “Educación Común”, en 1884, estableciendo su carácter obligatorio, estatal, laico y gratuito. Sin embargo, este impulso del Estado a la educación pública universal entró pronto en contradicción con el sistema político restrictivo. Las consecuencias de esta tensión estallaron en las primeras décadas del siglo XX, cuando los nuevos sectores medios en expansión pusieron fin al régimen conservador. El Bicentenario en (2010), con la democracia recuperada e implementado un nuevo modelo de Estado de acuerdo al contexto internacional de las dos últimas décadas, se efectuó una profunda reforma educativa de acuerdo a la era global, con el auge de políticas públicas de carácter neoliberal que poco tenían que ver con la realidad nacional, situación que ha tenido fuerte impacto en la estructura y calidad del vigente sistema educativo en todos sus niveles.

Argentina Education from Centennial Bicentennial

ABSTRACT

In the Centennial (1910), education played a central role in nation-building, considered an essential condition to make the country a republic. In this context and had previously enacted the Law No. 1420 of "common education" in 1884, establishing their mandatory state, secular and free. However, the momentum of the state to universal public education soon came into conflict with the restrictive political system. The consequences of this tension erupted in the early decades of the twentieth century, when new media in expanding sectors ended the conservative regime.

The Bicentennial (2010), with democracy restored and implemented a new model of State under the international context of the last two decades, made a profound educational reform according to the global era, with the rise of public policies on nature neoliberal had little to do with the national reality, and this has had strong impact on the structure and quality of existing education system at all levels.
