REPRESENTACIONES SOCIALES SOBRE LAS MOVILIZACIONES ESTUDIANTILES EN ESTUDIANTES DE PSICOLOGIA DE LA CIUDAD DE TEMUCO

RESUMEN

La presente investigación tiene por objetivo determinar y describir las representaciones sociales de estudiantes universitarios de psicología de la Ciudad de Temuco sobre las movilizaciones y participación estudiantil. Se utilizó la Técnica de Redes Semánticas Naturales (Valdez, 1998), instrumento que se aplicó a 51 estudiantes de Psicología de la Facultades de Educación, Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades de la Universidad de La Frontera. Movilización estudiantil, participación, marcha, toma y protesta; fueron las palabras estímulo utilizadas, en tanto, los análisis se realizaron en base a valores que arrojan las redes semánticas, cuyos resultados evidencian la presencia de nuevas formas de participación política propias de una generación socializada en un período posterior a la dictadura. Cabe precisar, que dichos se discuten a la luz de los antecedentes teóricos pertinentes que posibilitan la comprensión de las representaciones presentes en los estudiantes encuestados.

ABSTRACT

This research aims to identify and describe the social representations of university students of psychology at the City of Temuco on demonstrations and student participation. We used the technique of natural semantic nets (Valdez, 1998), an instrument that was applied to 51 students of Psychology, Faculty of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of La Frontera. Student mobilization, participation, march and protest decision; stimulus words were used, meanwhile, analyzes were based on values that yield semantic networks, the results show the presence of new forms of political participation typical of a generation socialized in a post-dictatorship period. It should be noted that these are discussed in the light of the relevant theoretical background enable understanding the present representations students surveyed.
